After visiting Anglesey Abbey, we thought we would take a drive around the fens and came across a National Trust Wetland Nature Reserve.When we arrived, a celebration was underway, the Wicken Brass Band were playing and later we watched folk dancers enjoying themselves.

We enjoyed a walk along the boardwalk,
made of recycled plastic.
The trail took us across the undrained lowlands,
allowing us to see how the fens looked indays gone by....
Amongst the sedges we caught a glimpse of a Muntjac Deer.
Its an absolute haven for Birdwatchers
and for spotting wildlife.
I should think we will visit again.
