Our drive to Perpignan

We set off about 9.30am heading south and decided to take the National road running parallel with the A20 (toll motorway). In fact it was a good road and hardly any traffic on it. I think Ant quite enjoyed the drive.

I've just realised I had not mentioned before, although this is supposed to be a blog about our travels with our Adria caravan, this time we have left our Adria at home.

We followed the national roads without using the toll motorways all the way to Perpignan via Toulouse, Carcassonne and Narbonne to finally Perpignan where we stayed two nights.

Stayed at Hotel Nyx, very comfortable stay, and within walking distance of the old town.

The hotel proprietor suggested we take a look at the Palace of the Majorcan Kings.
It's a Palace and Fortress with splendid views of the snow capped mountains and city.

(We will have a pic as soon as we can access from the camera!)
