We got a glimpse of the landscape that inspired one of the true masterpieces of British art, John Constable's Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows.

We took a stroll from the town along the Town Path across the water-meadows to the Old Mill in Harnham. Where we enjoyed a pot of tea for three.
