Saumur is a favourite stop off for us. We're camped on the island with a great view of the Chateau across the Loire.
We've been here a few days and enjoying the weather. We've watched caravans and camper vans come and go of all nationalities but mainly GB's!
We wandered the town and ordered two beers at one of the many pavement cafes. Let the dice decide whether the waiter got a tip. He did... So 20 cents down so far, I must try harder. Sunday now and last shop on Friday, beer all gone so just had G&T, few bottles of Normandy cider left, plus red wine of course. Maybe also a white, have to check on that as l think Kaye must be cleaning her teeth in wine. Talking of Kaye, she's a bit quiet today as had too much sun yesterday, what a bugger life is.
