Chichester Harbour ....

In the last few weeks we have been rediscovering Chichester Harbour.
We've been fortunate to enjoy some amazing mild weather in October!

West Wittering
East Head Beach is at the entrance to Chichester Harbour. We had parked at East Wittering and walked along the beach to West Wittering and along the sand dunes stretching into the Harbour. We had a great walk around the head, admiring the wonderful views of the harbour and trying to work out where Bosham was located and other waterside villages.

We thought we would spend some time cycling around the Harbour and hitched up our Adria and pitched at the Chichester Camping and Caravanning Club site at Southbourne.
Just our luck! There's been an icy cold north wind since we've been down here.

Cold today....
Stopped off to admire views across the Harbour

Nice walks around Chidham peninsular

Silly hat time...

Looking east across the harbour

Getting cloudy, lets get back before it rains....

South Downs in the distance...

Believe it or not, a field full of Brent Geese
