We followed a cycle route that I had printed off at home before we left. It helped a little but we made most of it up as we went along!
We cycled through some lovely quiet French villages hearing the occasional church bell and the lively bird song.
The route took us over fields and through forests.
Over the River Loire several times!
We came across Montigny Le Gannelon Chateau sitting high up in the hill overlooking the River Loire and the lakes.
