4 hour trail - you are joking.....

Checked out the site information and came across some info on a walking trail with interesting views. 12 kilometres takes 4 hours. That seemed good for us.
Set off about 10.30 am with our packed lunch. Instructions seemed quite clear to start off with and after quite a climb we found ourselves looking out on great views of the Millau Viaduc designed by Norman Foster and Millau town and surrounding hills.

4 hours had long past and we were still following the red and white signs but no indication of descent. After 7 hours we took matters into our own hands and descended down to Millau via the D809.
Arrived back at the campsite at 8.30pm
to very concerned GB neighbours.

Have a few walking aches but not too bad, looked at the maps again today, figure we walked about 25 miles . Quite a feat for us ....thinking about moving on on Tuesday but going to check weather.
